Sending candidates forms

Ask a candidate for professional details, interview availability, references or your own questions, and keep the answers on their record.

On a candidate, choose Request information from the candidate. Start from a ready-made form (professional details, interview availability, references, or notice period and expectations) or write your own, then send it. The candidate gets a private link, answers without an account, agrees to a data notice, and the answers appear on their record. You are emailed when they answer.

Writing the questions

  • Up to 12 questions. Answer types: short answer, long answer, yes or no, choose one, date, web link, number, and times available.
  • Mark a question required or optional. Edit the ready-made ones freely.
  • Interview availability asks for up to five windows of date, start and end time, plus their time zone. Use it to offer them a slot from your scheduling.
Don't ask about age, date of birth, religion, race or ethnicity, political views, trade union membership, marital status or pregnancy. These are unlawful to ask in many places or need special handling, so Rezumz won't send a form that asks them. Questions that touch on health, disability, nationality or gender are allowed with a warning, because an employer sometimes has a lawful reason. Say why you are asking in your introduction.

After it is sent

  • The link works for 14 days and is personal to the candidate. Withdraw a form that hasn't been answered and its link stops working.
  • The first submission is final, so a double click can't change it. The time they agreed to the data notice is stored.
  • Answers are included in the hire package, and a form.submitted webhook fires when someone answers.
  • You can send up to 40 forms a day.
