Network Administrator Resume Template
For a network administrator resume, we recommend Classic Minimal: Calibri, black & white, dense bullets — the safest all-purpose ATS format for any field.
Why this template fits a network administrator resume
A network administrator resume needs to prove reliable, secure network uptime that the whole organization depends on — Classic Minimal keeps the focus on that with a traditional underlined section style that reads clearly to both a hiring manager and the ATS software screening for Network configuration/administration (Cisco/Juniper) and Firewall/VPN management.
All 25 Rezumz templates are single-column and ATS-safe by default — this one is just the best starting point for this specific field. You can switch templates any time while editing.
What to put in the template
Order the sections as summary, work experience, skills, then education and certifications. Put your most recent and most relevant role first. Keep it to one page unless you have a long career.
Skills to fill into the skills section
Must-have: Network configuration/administration (Cisco/Juniper), Firewall/VPN management, Network monitoring tools, Troubleshooting, Documentation.
If you have them: CCNA/CCNP certification, Cloud networking experience, Wireless network design experience.
Example bullet points to copy the shape of
- Maintained 99.9% network uptime across a 300-user organization over 2 years
- Led a network infrastructure upgrade that reduced average latency by 40%
- Resolved 95% of network-related help-desk tickets within the same business day
Replace the figures with your own. The layout does the formatting, but the bullets do the convincing.
Does the template matter to an ATS?
Less than people think. Every Rezumz template is single-column with real text, so applicant tracking systems read it correctly. What matters more is that the keywords above appear in your skills and in your bullets.
