Dietitian / Nutritionist Resume Template
For a dietitian / nutritionist resume, we recommend Clinical Clean: Calm teal accent, high legibility sans — built for nursing, allied health, and clinical roles where credentials need to stand out.
Why this template fits a dietitian / nutritionist resume
A dietitian / nutritionist resume needs to prove measurable patient outcomes from evidence-based nutrition plans — Clinical Clean keeps the focus on that with a clean accent-bar section style that reads clearly to both a hiring manager and the ATS software screening for Nutritional assessment and Medical nutrition therapy.
All 25 Rezumz templates are single-column and ATS-safe by default — this one is just the best starting point for this specific field. You can switch templates any time while editing.
What to put in the template
Order the sections as summary, work experience, skills, then education and certifications. Put your most recent and most relevant role first. Keep it to one page unless you have a long career.
Skills to fill into the skills section
Must-have: Nutritional assessment, Medical nutrition therapy, Care plan development, Patient education, Electronic health records.
If you have them: RD/RDN credential, Diabetes education certification, Sports nutrition specialization.
Example bullet points to copy the shape of
- Managed medical nutrition therapy for a caseload of 40+ patients, achieving an 85% goal-adherence rate at 3-month follow-up
- Developed a diabetes-management nutrition program adopted clinic-wide, improving average patient A1C by 0.8 points
- Delivered nutrition education workshops to 200+ patients annually across individual and group sessions
Replace the figures with your own. The layout does the formatting, but the bullets do the convincing.
Does the template matter to an ATS?
Less than people think. Every Rezumz template is single-column with real text, so applicant tracking systems read it correctly. What matters more is that the keywords above appear in your skills and in your bullets.
