Childcare Worker / Daycare Teacher Resume Template
For a childcare worker / daycare teacher resume, we recommend Education Approachable: Calm, readable serif with a soft green accent — built for teaching, academic support, and education roles.
Why this template fits a childcare worker / daycare teacher resume
A childcare worker / daycare teacher resume needs to prove safe, developmentally appropriate care that parents and licensing boards can verify — Education Approachable keeps the focus on that with a clean accent-bar section style that reads clearly to both a hiring manager and the ATS software screening for Age-appropriate curriculum planning and Classroom/behavior management.
All 25 Rezumz templates are single-column and ATS-safe by default — this one is just the best starting point for this specific field. You can switch templates any time while editing.
What to put in the template
Order the sections as summary, work experience, skills, then education and certifications. Put your most recent and most relevant role first. Keep it to one page unless you have a long career.
Skills to fill into the skills section
Must-have: Age-appropriate curriculum planning, Classroom/behavior management, Child safety and first aid, Parent communication, Developmental milestone tracking.
If you have them: CDA credential, CPR/First Aid certification, Montessori training.
Example bullet points to copy the shape of
- Planned and led daily activities for a class of 12 toddlers, maintaining a state-licensing-compliant 1:4 supervision ratio
- Documented developmental milestones for each child and communicated progress to parents in weekly updates
- Maintained a zero-incident safety record across 18 months while managing a high-energy toddler classroom
Replace the figures with your own. The layout does the formatting, but the bullets do the convincing.
Does the template matter to an ATS?
Less than people think. Every Rezumz template is single-column with real text, so applicant tracking systems read it correctly. What matters more is that the keywords above appear in your skills and in your bullets.
